i said earlier that david cage doesn’t care about minorities and i’m just here to back up that claim because it’s pretty hefty. i want yall to note that this isn’t the only reason his games are terrible, but considering a lot of writing stems from, yknow, the ability to write characters, these are definitely a big chunk of why he can’t write. these are also pretty broad sweeps over all of his games and i’d be happy to go into further depth if asked.
Leelah Alcorn was a teen girl. She committed suicide because her parents are transphobic and refused to acknowledge her gender identity. Tumblr then tried to erase her from the site, but WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN. Pass it on.

i will never feel bad or feel remorse for someone’s death if they actively participated in or perpetuated ideologies that would lead to violence towards people like me. that will quite literally never happen. i will never feel bad about a rapist dying. i’ll never feel bad about a domestic abuser dying. i will never feel bad about a pedophile dying. i will never feel bad about someone who actively hates lgbt+ people dying. never. and i will celebrate that. why? because that’s one less person on this earth that wishes me dead simply for having the courage to exist. and i’ll especially celebrate it if said person has the popularity to spread that to the masses. good riddance
